Job description
As a Senior Network Administrator, you’ll serve as a technical leader responsible for the administration, optimization, and security of enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.\n, * Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to deliver infrastructure enhancements supporting continuous integration and rapid capability delivery.\n
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives as the networking subject matter expert.\n
- Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability while proactively identifying opportunities for optimization.\n
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.\n
- Implement and maintain secure network architectures in accordance with Intelligence Community security requirements and best practices.\n
- Support cloud connectivity, hybrid networking, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.\n
- Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration baselines.\n
- Coordinate hardware refreshes, software upgrades, maintenance windows, and patch management activities.\n
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and support audits and accreditation activities.\n
Requirements
- Install, configure, and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network infrastructure components.\n, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.\n
- 8+ years of network administration experience.\n
- DoD 8140/8570 Compliance: Must possess an active CompTIA Security+ (or higher baseline certification) to satisfy IAM Level I / IAT Level II requirements.\n
- Cisco Networking: Must possess an active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise certification.\n
- Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical network environments.\n
- Strong expertise with Cisco routing and switching technologies.\n

- OSPF, BGP, EIGRP\n
- VLANs\n
- DNS/DHCP\n
- VPN technologies\n
- NAT\n
- QoS\n

Multicast\n \n
- Experience administering enterprise firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.\n
- Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools.\n
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical disciplines.\n
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.\n, * ITIL Certification (ITIL v3 Foundation, ITIL 4 Foundation, or higher) or an equivalent IT service management framework certification (e.g., COBIT, ISO/IEC 20000).\n
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense customers.\n
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud networking.\n
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN).\n
- Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell.\n
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and micro-segmentation.\n
- Experience with DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\n
- Experience with VMware NSX or Cisco ACI.\n
