Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to help support and grow our current and future client base. In this role, you’ll assess clients’ current operations and network topology, identify weaknesses, and implement the hardware and software needed to address them. That can mean anything from installing firewalls and VPNs to completely revising a wireless internet system.
You’ll work across a range of clients and technologies, and each person here is given the opportunity and encouraged to learn all aspects of supporting our clients.

We are open to filling this role as either an employee (W-2) or a contractor (1099). Please let us know which you’re interested in when you apply.
The core work is the same in either position: assessing client networks, scoping and implementing solutions, and delivering defined projects on agreed timelines. The employee role additionally includes serving as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of managed services clients, supporting our first-level team members, and participating in our on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Assess client network needs and topology
- Recommend, order, and install hardware and software solutions (firewalls, VPNs, wireless system overhauls, etc.)
- Deliver defined project outcomes on agreed timelines
- Provide technical documentation for internal team reference
- Translate technical work into clear client-friendly
Requirements
- 5+ years of network engineering and/or administration experience
- CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ certification
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts, projects, and timelines independently
- Capability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated learner who actively stays current on emerging technologies and industry trends
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for client-site visits, * Cloud computing experience
- Experience with ConnectWise
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for documentation, ticketing, or network monitoring
- Experience with structured documentation and project tracking practices
Benefits & conditions
$45-$65/hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and project scope. Contract engagements are on a 1099 basis.
