Experteer Overview As a Data & AI Cloud Technical Architect at Salesforce, you act as a pre-sales expert bridging data architecture and AI to design enterprise-scale solutions. You’ll own technical storytelling, craft architectures, and guide customers from strategy to deployment. You’ll collaborate with sales to shape propositions and enable enablement sessions and reference architectures. This role combines cloud data platforms, ML, and agentic AI to solve complex data challenges at scale. You’ll travel domestically to engage customers and partners and influence AI-driven transformations. Compensation / Benefits * Lead technical and business discussions on enterprise data and AI programs from strategy to deployment * Translate requirements into winning architectures and repeatable propositions * Develop solution best practices, reference architectures, and enablement sessions * Support sales with go-to-market strategies and customer engagements * Deliver industry summits and presentations for customers, partners, and internal audiences Tasks * Hands-on with cloud data warehouse and lakehouse platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse) * Strong SQL and data modeling across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data; dbt or Spark familiarity a plus * Familiarity with ML fundamentals and agentic AI or generative AI * Hands-on experience with LLMs or agents (production, POC, or side project) * Proficient in Python; comfortable with AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) * Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data governance, data quality, lineage * Experience with APIs, event streaming (Kafka/Pub-Sub), ETL/ELT; security concepts * Willingness to travel domestically; 4+ years of professional experience * Bachelor-level degree in a STEM field; graduate study a plus Key requirements * time off programs * medical coverage * dental coverage * vision coverage * mental health support * paid parental leave
