Job description

We are currently seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong interest in applied AI to design, build, and scale applications across the full stack - from backend APIs and data pipelines to frontend product experiences. This role is ideal for an engineer who doesn’t just build features, but shapes intelligent systems from concept to production.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that power AI-driven features
  • Integrate AI capabilities into product experiences - LLMs, vector search, AI workflows, and agents
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and context-aware systems
  • Build full stack applications from concept to production across frontend and backend
  • Collaborate with product and design to define features, UX, and system behavior
  • Architect scalable backend systems and data flows including API-first and event-driven patterns
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-driven features and products
  • Evaluate and implement third-party AI tools, APIs, and infrastructure
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI systems
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, technical direction, and product strategy

Requirements

  • Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, or similar
  • Backend Systems & API Development
  • Frontend Development (React, Next.js, or similar)
  • AI API Integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
  • Prompt Engineering / Embeddings / Vector Search
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
  • SQL and / or NoSQL Databases

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience building AI-powered applications in production
  • Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Upstash Vector)
  • LangChain or LlamaIndex experience
  • Docker / Kubernetes or serverless / edge computing platforms
  • Event-driven or streaming architectures
  • ML fundamentals - fine-tuning, evaluation, model selection
  • Startup or small team experience
  • Self-starter with strong product intuition
