Job description
BAE Systems is looking for a highly skilled Technician to support Engineering and production as well as other manufacturing processes in a team-based environment with a primary focus on troubleshooting complex circuit boards to component level.
Responsible for assuring compliance to quality requirements including reading test reports, assuring calibration of test tools, organizing and planning product flow, work coordination between shifts.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- 3 years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment or military technical experience
- Candidate is required to lift, move and connect assemblies of up to 15 pounds for a variety of test equipment
- Attention to detail in completing data collection of test reports
- Aptitude to use computers including data input, saving records, spreadsheet manipulation, reading and interpreting documents
- Ability to troubleshoot circuit boards to component level
- Mechanical experience and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associate degree in a technical field
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent military technical experience
- Troubleshooting and repair complex circuit boards to component level using a multitude of related equipment, i.e. multimeter, oscilloscope and hand tools
- Experience soldering electronic components, circuit boards, and assemblies
Benefits & conditions
Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
