Experteer Overview As Senior Staff Data Scientist, you will lead the ML/AI strategy for vehicle quality, engineering systems, and customer experience. You’ll shape scalable ML architectures and act as a technical advisor to executives, driving measurable outcomes like quality improvements and warranty reductions. This IC role balances hands-on modeling with strategic influence across data, product, and engineering teams. You’ll work on large-scale vehicle and IoT data, delivering impactful, production-ready AI solutions. You will also mentor peers and contribute to company-wide knowledge sharing. Compensation / Benefits * Define and evolve ML/AI architecture and framework for quality, engineering, and vehicle analytics * Set technical direction for ML systems, experimentation platforms, and data science architecture * Advise senior leadership on model feasibility, trade-offs, and business impact * Develop and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and causal models using vehicle and IoT data * Lead root cause analysis for vehicle quality and system failures * Design and build LLM-based and agentic AI solutions for engineering and quality use cases * Architect scalable distributed data/ML systems and manage ML lifecycle (training, validation, deployment, monitoring) * Oversee experimentation framework for safe, scalable testing and translate results into product decisions * Mentor senior and mid-level data scientists and share knowledge internally and externally Tasks * 8+ years in data science/advanced analytics/ML * 5+ years hands-on with Databricks, Palantir, Snowflake, or AWS SageMaker * Expert Python (or R) and SQL * Strong foundation in ML algorithms, statistical modeling, neural networks * Experience building ML solutions on distributed systems (e.g., Spark) * Ability to communicate with executives and translate analytics into business decisions Key requirements *
