Job description

  • Own the functional requirements link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Communicates needed changes to development team.
  • Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.

Project Execution:

  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
  • Communicates and applies project standards.
  • Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
  • Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
  • Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.

Communication:

  • Facilitates the scheduling and arrangement of meetings and workshops necessary to keep the project moving along.
  • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Analysis:

  • Analyze and document business processes.

o Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications

Requirements

Senior Epic Beacon Certified Analyst must have previous Epic implementation experience for a 6-month contract.

Epic Certification must be current or within prior release version. Individuals must have a strong background analyzing requirements gathered from clinical end users and other clinical stakeholders, creating BRDs, paper mock ups, flowcharts, project schedules and other tasks such as leading validation sessions and build. The right

candidate will need the personality to assume ownership of a project, create guidance where there isn’t any and influence the direction if it is not correct. Strong written and spoken language skills are a must and a strong background in clinical healthcare technologies and processes is strongly preferred

  • Beacon Certification required
  • Epic Cellular Therapy implementation experience preferred
  • Pediatric Oncology Implementation experience preferred
  • Clinical experience in Nursing and Provider Workflows preferred
  • End User Support experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Providers and Clinical staff required, The Business Systems Analyst’s Lvl 3 role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments., * A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and
  • Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications.
  • Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
  • Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
  • Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or
  • A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

Years of Experience:

  • Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications.
  • Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
  • Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
