Job description

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join an Agile engineering team responsible for building modern platform services, infrastructure automation, and internal developer tools. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy developing scalable backend services, cloud infrastructure, and automation platforms that power enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building production-grade APIs using Python or Go, working with Terraform, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and modern software engineering best practices. Location Hybrid 2 Days/Week Onsite important: This position is available only on W2. No C2C, third-party vendors, subcontractors, or employer submissions will be considered.   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and internal platform APIs.
  • Build secure API layers that expose infrastructure capabilities to engineering teams.
  • Develop production services using Python or Go (Golang).
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
  • Build reusable automation modules and infrastructure components.
  • Implement API standards, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and contract tests.
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Develop Policy as Code using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with platform engineering, cloud, DevOps, security, and developer experience teams.
  • Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience developing production backend applications.
  • Strong experience with Python or Go (Golang).
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of:

  • Experience building distributed systems using concepts such as:
