Sr. Infra/Cloud Engineer

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure, the Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer is responsible for the architecture, administration, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company’s infrastructure platforms. This role provides technical leadership across cloud services, servers, networking, identity, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and operational automation in support of client’s SaaS platform and internal business operations. This position serves as a senior technical resource capable of independently owning infrastructure projects, troubleshooting complex production issues, and ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security., Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Administer Windows and Linux server environments. Manage networking infrastructure including routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing. Leverage access management platforms including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Administer virtualization and cloud platforms. Develop infrastructure automation and operational efficiencies. Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities. Support vulnerability remediation and security initiatives. Work with application teams to ensure reliable and scalable service delivery. Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures. 8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience. Strong expertise in Windows Server administration. Experience administering public cloud platforms (Azure preferred). VMware and related colocation experience. Strong networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching. Experience supporting SaaS environments. Experience with disaster recovery, backups, and high-availability architectures. Experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation. Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents. Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting regulated or audited environments. Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 environments. Azure certifications. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools. Experience with security technologies and vulnerability management.

• $100,000-140,000 per year, + $65.00 per hour
