Job description
Experteer Overview Senior Analyst, Data Platform Engineering leads Snowflake administration and data-pipeline engineering to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-efficient data platforms. You design and maintain pipelines ingesting diverse sources and curate agent-ready data layers powering BI and AI. You enable AI applications across the organization, experiment with Snowflake Private Preview features, and push platform innovation into production. You work closely with cross-functional teams to support governance and analytics at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Primary Snowflake administrator: manage users, roles, warehouses, RBAC/RLS/CLS, security policies, and account configurations * Monitor health, performance, and cost; tune workloads to meet SLAs * Audit security and manage cross-account availability with partners * Activate, test, and evaluate Snowflake Private Preview capabilities; document findings and adoption strategies * Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (CDC, API ingestion, batch/file loads) across Foundation/Processed/Curated layers * Maintain transformation workflows and data lineage; ensure data quality and timely delivery * Onboard new data sources and define ingestion standards with source system owners * Document pipeline design, dependencies, and governance-related details * Enable AI/copilot applications (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Snowflake Cortex Agents) and configure agents * Curate data sets and semantic views; partner with BI/analytics teams to meet reporting needs * Train team members and business users on new tools and capabilities * Document platform architecture, runbooks, and how-to guides for ongoing enablement Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred * 5+ years in data engineering, database/platform administration, or BI; hands-on Snowflake admin experience in production (1+ year) * Hands-on experience with multi-account Snowflake architecture * Strong SQL programming skills * Experience with data ingestion and ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran/HVR, Matillion, dbt, Coalesce, Postman) * Familiarity with AI/LLM enablement tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Github Copilot) * BI/visualization tools experience (Tableau or Sigma) a plus * Understanding of agentic architectures and MCP server-based integrations a plus * Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core/Advanced) a strong plus * Familiarity with agile development; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills Key requirements * Paid Parental Leave * United Compassion Fund * Employee Discount Program * Career Development & Promotional Opportunities * Additional Vacation Buy Up Program (US Only) * Early Wage Access through Payactiv (US Hourly Only)
