Experteer Overview In this Senior Platform Engineer role, you will own and operate critical production database services across on-prem and cloud, focusing on Go-driven platform solutions. You’ll work within the Software & Product Development team to deliver scalable, reliable database platforms (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL) and drive automation, observability, and lifecycle management. The position blends development and platform ownership, enabling cross-functional impact at scale. You’ll contribute to hybrid cloud strategies and on-call incident response, shaping resilient data services. Compensation / Benefits * Design and maintain infrastructure and automation for production database services across on-prem and cloud * Build scalable provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management solutions * Apply infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) for hybrid environments * Automate certificate management, upgrades, migrations, and operational tasks * Respond to P1/P2 incidents and troubleshoot hybrid production platforms * Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability to prevent issues * Own and improve one or more critical database service areas for reliability * Lead HA and disaster recovery enhancements across platforms * Collaborate with teams to ensure services meet business needs * Document architecture decisions and runbooks * Mentor team members and participate in planning and reviews Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent * 9+ years of software or platform engineering experience * 5+ years in Go (Golang) development in production * Experience building end-to-end platform solutions * Experience supporting mission-critical production services * Expert Go proficiency with strong architecture sense * Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies experience * Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm) experience * Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL) * Production experience with GCP (GKE, CloudSQL, Secret Manager) or similar cloud * Hybrid environment deployments (on-prem and cloud) * Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) * Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging infrastructure * Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration * On-call and incident response readiness * Continuous learning mindset Key requirements *
