Job description

Seeking a Senior Applications Analyst to support and optimize enterprise business applications in a fast-paced private equity environment. This role combines project leadership, business application support, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational efficiency across finance, operations, and IT.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for enterprise applications through ticket management and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and managed service providers.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead application implementations using modern SDLC methodologies.
  • Optimize business applications, integrations, and workflows to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Design and implement workflow automation opportunities.
  • Manage application security, user access, and compliance.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and support end users.
  • Manage 1-2 concurrent application implementation or enhancement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications within financial services, private equity, private credit, direct lending, investment banking, or similar environments.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience working with third-party software vendors and managed service providers.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ERP, property management, CRM, or portfolio management systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Experience with APIs, system integrations, and application architecture.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other modern project methodologies.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management frameworks.
  • Experience implementing knowledge management systems or intranets.
  • Background in real estate or alternative investment industries is a plus.
