Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will lead system-level integration and testing for an agile software build in a defense-focused environment. You will collaborate with software, DevOps, and systems teams to ensure test readiness, traceability, and requirements verification. You’ll analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, and support TRRs/TRBs to drive quality and readiness. The position offers exposure to CI/CT, test automation, and cross-functional delivery that directly supports mission-critical operations. You will work across multiple locations and contribute to secure, scalable software delivery with a strong emphasis on test discipline and integration. Compensation / Benefits * Execute and maintain system-level integration and test procedures for agile software builds (dry-runs, build verification, run-for-record) * Perform environment setup, configuration management, interface verification, and troubleshooting of system-level issues * Analyze test results to verify requirements, identify defects, and collaborate on root-cause analysis * Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Test Review Boards (TRBs) with test reports and discrepancy analyses * Develop and maintain test/integration documentation (plans, cases, interfaces, configuration procedures) * Collaborate with software developers, DevOps, and systems engineering to ensure testability and requirements verification * Support CI/CT processes and participate in automation initiatives to improve test efficiency * Follow and improve test processes, CM practices, and quality standards Tasks * Active TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline * Minimum 3+ years of systems engineering experience with 1-2 years in integration and test * Experience executing software integration and test procedures (planning, execution, data analysis, results documentation) * Experience with configuration management, version control, and software build processes * Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail) * Experience analyzing test results, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of system-level issues * Knowledge of requirements management, traceability, and verification methods * Strong collaboration/communication across software development, DevOps, and systems engineering teams * Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps practices * Ability to work independently in fast-paced development environments Key requirements * competitive compensation * robust learning resources * healthcare and retirement benefits * flexible time off * continuing education * family support
