Job description

  • The Lead Full-Stack Developer will architect, build, and continue to scale a cross-platform web and mobile application deployed to iOS and Android platforms.
  • Deep experience in Ionic + Angular, strong backend engineering in Node.js, and production-level experience operating in an AWS-native environment.
  • Work across the established architecture: mobile UI/UX, web interfaces, API integrations, backend services, cloud infrastructure, DevOps (CI/CD), and release management.
  • Support, maintain and enhance several existing applications, own architecture decisions, and ship production-level software in an agile, fast-paced and lean environment working with multiple vendors.
  • Responsible for overseeing a technical team of offshore backend developers, working in close collaboration with Capgemini onshore and offshore team, Client IT and business leadership teams along with several supporting software vendors and 3rd party teams.
  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Integrate third-party APIs including restaurant ordering and location services.
  • Solution and implement scalable backend services using current architecture.
  • Develop and maintain APIs behind AWS API Gateway.
  • Implement serverless workflows using AWS Lambda.
  • Design data models and managing relational databases in AWS RDS
  • Manage container images and deployments via AWS ECR.
  • Design scalable cloud-native architecture in AWS.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes

  • Strong Node.js development experience and REST API design and implementation
  • Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda)
  • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL via AWS RDS)
  • Integrations & APIs o Experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Experience with performance optimization for high-traffic consumer apps
  • Experience optimizing mobile app performance and bundle size
  • Experience implementing observability
  • Understanding of OAuth, token-based auth, webhook handling
  • Experience with location-based services
  • Cloud & DevOps, AWS experience (S3, ECR, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Docker containerization
  • CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Experience managing environments (dev/stage/prod)

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
