Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will shape UKG’s cloud Platform as a Service by building scalable, reliable infrastructure and code. You’ll collaborate with agile teams to streamline deployment and integration of UKG software across cloud environments. You’ll own from design to production, implement IaC, and mentor peers to uphold quality and observability. This is an opportunity to influence cloud-native engineering at scale within a fast-paced, DevOps-driven culture. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain software and infrastructure code * Operate in a DevOps model from requirements to deployment and maintenance * Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using relevant tools * Contribute to design, development, and deployment of complex systems with high quality * Participate in architectural design reviews for scalability and maintainability * Perform thorough code reviews and maintain coding standards with observability and tests * Build and automate tests; participate in testing and leverage test automation * Manage service health, telemetry, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions * Document new features, enhancements, or fixes and contribute to training materials Tasks * 4+ years of software engineering experience * 4 years experience with at least one of Java, Golang, Ruby, Python, C++ * 1+ year GitOps/DevOps experience or building IaC pipelines * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms * Experience designing and administering CI/CD pipelines * Proven track record leading and delivering large-scale software projects * Proficiency with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and GitHub * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience Key requirements * flexibility * benefits you can count on * hybrid work * performance-based bonus plan * restricted stock unit awards * total compensation potential
