Senior Network Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will strengthen the Air Battle Management System network by designing, deploying, and maintaining evolving network architectures. You’ll lead upgrades, mentor teammates, and manage SD-WAN operations to support critical DoD missions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and program leadership to deliver reliable network services and improvements. This position offers hands-on technical impact in a mission-driven environment with opportunities to influence strategy and security. Compensation / Benefits * Provide design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of evolving network architectures * Guide and support network deployments, including provisioning and process optimization * Serve as primary manager of the deployment code base * Mentor and provide cross-functional training to team members * Manage SD-WAN architecture and implement security updates * Lead planning and coordination of network system upgrades at CONUS and OCONUS field sites * Coordinate with Team Lead and chief engineer to manage issues and escalate as appropriate * Deliver briefings and regular status updates to Program leadership on DI-Network activities Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related discipline with 12+ years of experience * US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire * Experience mentoring technical staff on IPTs and cross-functional teams * Ability to influence development of solutions supporting strategic program goals * Knowledge of network engineering, architecture, and network automation tools (Ansible, scripting, coding) * Experience configuring, activating, testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting network systems * Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and team-building skills Key requirements *
