Principal Technical Coach, IT

Experteer Overview As a Principal Technical coach, you guide teams and leaders to elevate customer delivery through modern engineering practices. You work hands-on, shaping technical strategies and mentoring colleagues to build a world-class coaching organization. You’ll influence engineering culture, collaborate across portfolios, and contribute cutting-edge code alongside teams. This role sits at the intersection of technology, leadership, and enterprise-wide enablement, driving impactful product outcomes for millions of customers. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as a go-to expert on modern technology, architecture, engineering, and DevOps practices * Influence and support the enterprise engineering culture with technical leaders and teams * Collaborate with teams/portfolios to achieve elevated customer delivery using modern practices * Mentor and work hands-on with other coaches, engineers, leads, and architects * Design and develop facilitator-led materials on modern engineering practices * Contribute real-world software engineering experience to build a community of coaches * Coach soft skills to build trust and assess current practices, recommending next steps * Develop learning strategies for software engineers and technical leaders * Develop cutting-edge code side by side with teams Tasks * 6 years of software engineering and/or DevOps experience * 2 years of experience as a tech lead on a software engineering team * Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering or related fields or equivalent work experience * Hands-on experience with engineering practices (OO design, XP, cloud design patterns, TDD/BDD, refactoring, automation, CI) * Experience implementing and operating DevOps tools/platforms across the development lifecycle (e.g., Azure, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Hygieia, SonarQube, New Relic) Key requirements * Travel perks across global network * Health benefits from day one * Wellness programs * 401(k) with employer contributions * Employee Assistance Program * pet insurance and discounts
