Job description

Associate programs at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are salaried roles designed for new grads and graduate students who have graduated from a four-year university. As an Associate, you will have an amazing opportunity to work on hard problems - we pride ourselves on giving everyone at Astranis a chance to do meaningful work on challenging projects, no matter their seniority. Many past associates have designed and tested hardware/software that is heading to space on our first satellite, and many of them are now full-time employees at Astranis. If you are still a college student, please apply to join us as an Intern. Role

  • Work with the engineering team to design, write and test software (embedded software running on satellites, as well as variety of ground control and testing software)

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
  • Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch
  • US Citizenship or Green Card, * Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal
  • Experience with real time operating systems
  • Experience with FPGA or DSP programming, C Programming Language, C++ Programming Language, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Software, Embedded Systems, Entrepreneurship, FPGA, Government, Hardware Quality Assurance, Information/Data Security (InfoSec), Realtime Operating System, Regulations, Satellite Communications, Scripting (Scripting Languages), Software Development, Team Player, Test Design, Test Plan/Schedule, United States Citizen, United States Military
