Cloud Native Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Native Engagement Manager to lead customer engagements focused on cloud-native transformation, application modernization, Kubernetes, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud adoption. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, technical delivery teams, and executive stakeholders, ensuring successful planning, execution, and adoption of cloud-native solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines strong customer relationship management, program leadership, cloud technology expertise, and strategic consulting skills to drive successful outcomes across complex enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Success

• Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic cloud-native customer engagements.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with executive sponsors, engineering leaders, architects, and delivery teams.
• Understand customer business objectives and align cloud-native initiatives with organizational goals.
• Facilitate executive business reviews and communicate project progress, risks, and value realization.

Program & Delivery Management

• Lead multiple concurrent cloud-native transformation programs.
• Develop project plans, milestones, governance models, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, product managers, security, and operations.
• Track deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, and resource utilization.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Cloud Native Strategy

• Guide customers through cloud adoption and modernization roadmaps.
• Advise on Kubernetes adoption, containerization strategies, CI/CD implementation, observability, GitOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation.
• Help define migration priorities and operating models for cloud-native platforms.
• Drive adoption of best practices for security, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and architecture discussions.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for executive audiences.
• Resolve escalations and remove delivery obstacles.
• Foster collaboration across customer and internal teams.

Business Development Support

• Identify opportunities for expanding customer engagements.
• Partner with sales and solution architects during account planning and proposal development.
• Support statements of work (SOWs), project scoping, and effort estimation.
• Contribute to customer success stories and reference programs.

Continuous Improvement

• Measure customer satisfaction and engagement health.
• Establish KPIs and success metrics for cloud-native initiatives.
• Capture lessons learned and improve delivery methodologies.
• Promote agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, consulting, customer success, or engagement management.
• 3+ years managing enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience managing executive-level customer relationships.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
