Job description

Needed for a large-scale platform modernization program, migrating a legacy monolithic application into a cloud-native, API-first and event-driven architecture, to be implemented in an AI-first operating model using Spec-Driven Development, where specifications govern design, build and test, and AI coding agents are used across the SDLC under human review., * Lead a pod of eight engineers; own technical execution, sprint delivery and code quality.

Operate the spec-driven development workflow end to end - specification, plan, task breakdown, generation, validation and review.
Act as merge authority; critically review AI-generated code against standards, security and coverage thresholds.
Coach engineers on specification authoring, agent steering and output verification.
Contribute reusable prompts, patterns and context assets to the project knowledge layer.
Own test-first discipline within the pod and ensure automated coverage gates are met.

Requirements

10 14 years in software engineering with 3+ years leading development teams.
Strong hands-on expertise in Full-Stack .NET, React and TypeScript; working knowledge of Kafka.
Demonstrable experience using AI coding assistants on live projects - not evaluation or pilot exposure.
Microservices, REST API design and cloud-native delivery on Azure or AWS with mature CI/CD.
Strong test automation practice across unit, integration and end-to-end layers.
Ability to coach and raise the technical bar across a team.
