About the company

We specialize in Staffing, Consulting, Software Development, and Training along with IT services to small to medium size companies. AG’s primary objective is to help companies maximize their IT resources and meet the ever-changing IT needs and challenges.

In addition, AG offers enterprise resource planning and enterprise application integration, supply-chain management, e-commerce solutions, and B2B public exchanges and B2B process integration solutions. Our company provides application analysis, design, development and programming, software engineering, systems development, testing, integration, and implementation, and management consulting services to various clients - including governmental agencies and private companies - throughout the United States and India.

We provide these services in multiple computing environments and use technologies such as client/server architecture, object-oriented programming languages and tools, distributed database management systems, state-of-the-art networking, and communications infrastructures. Our honest and realistic approach to recruiting dictates that AG does not entice or lure engineers from their employers. We represent only high caliber technical professionals who have committed to making a change required by career., Sun Power is looking for a senior java developer to join their existing team. The Spectrum application sells and manages solar panel systems. This is a high profile project for SunPower and as they plan to grow their independent dealer teams from 10 to 400 by EOY. Spectrum is a sales tool used by the sales organization to help sell solar panels. The application creates proposals, sales orders, manages leads, handles ordering and installation and is the main customer relations tool.

SunPower purchased the company July 2014 and is used by all their independent dealers for sales, procurement and accounting. The original team was 4 dev and 1QA, now the team is 4-6 dev with 2 QA. SunPower has put a lot of money into making the application more scalable for hundreds of dealers they are adding and is the 2nd most important initiative for SunPower R&D.

The application was architected and built 4-5 years ago and has been maintained since then. The team is going to redesign some of the application as well as add software which would allow the sales organization to add engineering documents similar to CAD. This would allow the buyer and sales person to see how the solar panels would look on a house roof., Sun Power is a relaxed, but deadline driven environment. Nate is flexible on work hours and many developers come in between 8-10am. Dress code is relaxed and jean/polo is appropriate.
