We’re looking for a high-ownership Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure, backend systems, and internal platform capabilities that power ExaCare’s products and engineering velocity., * Build and scale core platform infrastructure. Design and maintain reliable backend services, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and internal platform systems that support rapid product development and scalable operations.

  • Improve developer velocity. Create internal tooling, deployment automation, developer workflows, feature flag systems, and platform abstractions that help the engineering team ship faster and more confidently.
  • Lead reliability and operational excellence. Establish best practices around monitoring, incident response, infrastructure-as-code, testing, deployment safety, and system resiliency. Participate in production incident triage and continuous reliability improvements.
  • Architect scalable backend systems. Design APIs, background processing systems, event-driven workflows, queues, and integrations that support complex healthcare operations at scale.
  • Drive platform innovation.Evaluate and implement modern infrastructure patterns, AI-powered developer workflows, and scalable cloud-native technologies that improve engineering productivity and product capabilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into robust technical systems and platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems, infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps
  • Experience building and operating scalable distributed systems in production environments
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and Google Cloud Functions.
  • Deep experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps tooling
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and system reliability practices
  • Experience designing secure, resilient, and maintainable backend architectures
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and independently execute ambiguous, high-impact projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly across teams
  • Bonus: experience working with LLM infrastructure, AI tooling, or event-driven architectures

An insight into our Core Values

Only the Best Belong Here

We are unapologetic about talent. This should be the best team you have ever been on. Protecting that standard is how we honor each other’s time, ambition, and craft.

We work even harder to keep our partners than we did to earn them initially

The work does not stop when a customer first onboards to our platform. It deepens over time. We partner with operators, listening and learning about real problems, and translate that into solutions that help them succeed in practice. We earn trust through consistent delivery.

The Patient is Downstream of Every Decision At the end of the day, this is about the patient. We get there by deeply respecting post-acute operators and partners, because their work is the path our software travels to create better care.

Raise the Bar on Ownership

We grow because people here go beyond the minimum. We invest extra effort, care, and ownership into what we build.

The World is Moving Fast. We move Faster.

This is a race. We work hard, we move early, and we stay ahead of problems and competitors. If we slow down, someone else will pass us.

Radical Candor, Zero Politics.

We say what’s true, early, and we keep communication direct and clean so the team can move.

Bring Good Vibes and Win Together

We win as a team. We bring energy, support each other, and make the workplace somewhere people are excited to show up to.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to have a chat!
