Data Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a leading organisation in Brussels. You’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise data architecture, supporting a Data Mesh-driven strategy, and designing scalable solutions that align business objectives with modern data platforms., * Define and govern solution and data architecture across strategic initiatives.

• Design data integration, application, and data platform solutions.
• Support Data Product Teams in defining domains and data products.
• Develop data models, architecture standards, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Drive architecture reviews, PoCs, and technology evaluations.

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Solution Architect.
• Strong background in data integration, API-led and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in data modelling, including conceptual and logical models.
• Experience with Data Mesh, Data Lakes, MDM, or modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Microservices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Agile mindset with fluent English and Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Collibra, SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of metadata management and data governance platforms.
