Act as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that business vision is effectively translated into working solutions.

• Translate strategic objectives and business needs into functional architectures and solution designs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape roadmaps and support key decision-making processes
• Analyse complex business processes and design end-to-end solutions within the energy domain
• Guide and challenge development teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural principles
• Act as a domain expert, bringing structure and clarity in complex transformation environments
• Contribute to innovative digital solutions that support the energy transition

We are looking for a Functional Solution Architect who thrives at the intersection of business and IT, and who wants to shape the future of the energy sector. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on design capabilities and know how to translate complex business challenges into scalable, end-to-end solutions.

• Strong affinity with the energy or utilities sector; relevant experience is a strong plus
• Experience in functional analysis, solution design, or architecture roles
• Ability to translate business strategy into concrete IT solutions and architectures
• Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent communicator, able to engage both senior stakeholders and technical teams
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and working in iterative environments
• Experience with modelling techniques such as UML, BPMN, or ArchiMate
• Master’s degree; background in IT, engineering, or energy is valued
• Fluent Dutch or French speaker, proficient in both + English
