Frontend Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of the frontend development of a large-scale enterprise application. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering intuitive, high-performance user experiences using the latest frontend technologies while helping shape the future of a scalable design system.

Working as part of a collaborative Agile team, you’ll partner with designers, backend engineers and product teams to build robust, maintainable solutions used across a growing digital platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js.
• Build and evolve reusable UI components within a modern design system.
• Create responsive, accessible interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and document components using Storybook.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimise application performance, maintainability and code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests using Vitest.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend challenges and champion best practices.

• 6+ years’ commercial experience with React and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture and component-driven development.
• Experience with Storybook, Tailwind CSS and modern frontend best practices.
• Solid understanding of REST API integration.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest.
• Strong Git workflow experience and Agile delivery experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• CI/CD experience.
• Docker or containerisation knowledge.
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Familiarity with monorepos.
• Exposure to AWS or serverless environments.
• Experience with data visualisation libraries such as Chart.js, ECharts or D3.
