Job description
This is an opportunity for an experienced SAP IAG IAM Consultant who enjoys solving complex security and governance challenges whilst working across modern SAP environments.
You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing and enhancing Identity & Access Governance solutions, ensuring secure, compliant and efficient access management across large SAP landscapes.
This is a genuinely hands-on consulting position where you’ll influence security standards, improve governance processes and help organisations strengthen their SAP security posture. The Opportunity:
Join a highly skilled SAP security team delivering enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions across both on-premise and cloud environments.
You’ll work on large-scale SAP programmes, implementing best practice governance, reducing security risk and improving user access processes across critical business systems.
This role offers the chance to work with the latest SAP Identity & Access Governance technologies whilst helping shape long-term security strategy. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Implementing and configuring SAP Identity & Access Governance (SAP IAG) solutions.
- Working across Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Access Request Management (ARM), Emergency Access Management (EAM) and Role Design & Provisioning (RDP).
- Performing Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and identifying security risks.
- Designing, building and maintaining business roles, technical roles and role hierarchies.
- Managing user provisioning, de-provisioning and access approval workflows.
- Integrating SAP IAG with SAP IAS, SAP IPS, SAP S/4HANA, ECC and cloud applications.
- Supporting integrations with third-party IAM solutions where required.
- Configuring multi-stage approval workflows and risk-based access request processes.
- Supporting testing, deployment and production releases.
- Producing technical documentation, governance standards and security best practice.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience implementing SAP IAG / SAP IAM solutions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP Access Risk Analysis (ARA)
- Access Request Management (ARM)
- Emergency Access Management (EAM)
- Role Design & Provisioning (RDP)
- Excellent understanding of SAP Security, Authorisations, Roles, Profiles and Access Control.
- Experience working within SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC environments.
- Strong knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD), RBAC and Identity & Access Management principles.
- Experience configuring SAP IAS and SAP IPS.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks including SOX, audit controls and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Nice To Have:
- SAP GRC experience within hybrid SAP landscapes.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori, ABAP or automation technologies.
- Experience integrating third-party IAM solutions such as SailPoint.
- Knowledge of GDPR, ISO27001 or wider security governance frameworks.
- SAP Security, SAP IAG, SAP GRC, CISSP or CISA certifications.
