Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead the requirements, installation, testing and commissioning of automated machinery for aircraft wing manufacturing. You’ll drive improvements to existing systems and manage CapEx projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within cost. You’ll act as the technical focal point for plant automation and provide data-driven analysis to support production. This opportunity combines hands-on engineering with strategic project leadership in a sustainable aerospace environment. Pay / Benefits * Define requirements for new automated machines and systems and manage installation, test, acceptance, and entry into service * Develop improvement ideas and new processes for existing automation equipment * Manage capital investment projects and participate in cross-functional teams to deliver on time and cost * Manage the CapEx process for medium to high-value investment projects * Provide automation support to other Airbus departments and suppliers * Offer problem-solving expertise, technical knowledge and machine data analysis for production * Act as the technical focal point within the plant for automation systems Tasks * Degree level qualification in industrial automation, robotics or engineering * Ability to develop robust project management skills * Proficient digital and data analysis skills * Experience with statistical or data analysis tools (advantageous) e.g. Minitab, Skywise * Ability to translate and present complex data to non-technical stakeholders Key requirements * competitive salary * annual profit share * contributory pension * car leasing scheme * flexible working around core hours * wellbeing benefits
