Job description

Design and build a scalable data platform supporting enterprise AI applications
Shape the data architecture and make key technical decisions
Develop reliable data pipelines and orchestration workflows
Build cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS
Create lakehouse capabilities using Parquet and Delta Lake
Work closely with Data Science and Engineering colleagues
Embed security, observability and engineering best practice from the outset

Requirements

Advanced Python engineering
Strong commercial AWS experience
Terraform and infrastructure as code
Dagster or Airflow
PostgreSQL
Data lakehouse architecture
Parquet and Delta Lake
Building secure, production-grade data platforms
Ability to operate with considerable autonomy

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

RAG pipelines or production GenAI applications
LangChain or Google ADK
pgvector and FastAPI
MLflow
AWS EKS or Kubernetes
SOC 2 or ISO 27001-regulated environments

Genuine four-day working week, Monday to Thursday
