Senior Software Engineer

You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams while applying modern development practices and AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining reliable software solutions while helping shape technical direction and engineering standards across the platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services while contributing to frontend features when needed.
• Build high-quality, tested software following modern engineering, DevOps, and clean code practices.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical decisions, and the evolution of distributed software solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor teammates, and promote continuous improvement across engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity while maintaining strong standards for security, quality, and maintainability.

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong backend expertise, exposure to frontend development, and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.

• 5-6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus and frontend experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems and distributed architectures.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar solutions.
• Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), software engineering best practices, and clean code principles.
• Experience working with modern software development workflows and collaborative engineering practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience building highly scalable SaaS platforms.
