Trade Management Services Data Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive analytics and platform evolution for Citi’s Trade Cost Calculator and Analytics platform, VARCITI, supporting insights into trading costs across global markets. You will bridge business and technology by partnering with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Technology to deliver actionable metrics and enhancements. You’ll shape cost reporting accuracy, reconcile trade expenses with invoices, and lead cross-functional analytics initiatives. This position offers meaningful impact by improving cost transparency at scale and helping trading desks optimize decision-making. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders to deliver timely value. Pay / Benefits * Lead development initiatives for the VARCITI trade cost analytics platform * Design and deliver robust trade and cost analytics (volume profiling, product analysis, expense trend identification) * Develop and refine reconciliation processes for trade expense analytics against third-party invoices * Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Technology to define metrics and gather enhancement requirements * Own trading cost fee calculations and volume reconciliation across multiple products * Translate business requirements into timely feature releases with software development teams * Analyze enhancement opportunities to improve transparency and accuracy in cost reporting * Gather and document requirements for new metrics, reporting enhancements, and onboarding requests Tasks * Intermediate experience in fast-paced business environments with focus on technology or financial analysis * Strong understanding of SDLC * Knowledge of trade flow processes and systems (preferred) * Knowledge of Fixed Income, Commodities, and Equities products (preferred) * Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements in data/analytical workflows * Advanced SQL proficiency * Data visualization tools experience (QlikView, Tableau, or similar) * Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills * Familiarity with Agile methodologies * Bachelor’s degree required Key requirements *
