Experteer Overview In this role you drive the generative and context-aware evolution of Vista’s Customer Relevance Platform.You’ll co-lead research with another Principal Data Scientist to advance Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic recommendations that power personalized, context-aware shopping experiences.You will shape models that translate real-time signals into customer intents, and ensure ML integrations scale across backend data pipelines and frontend delivery.This is a hands-on leadership role influencing product and engineering strategy, with impact on user experience and metrics at scale.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Advance generative recommendation paradigms and integrate them into the fmX architecture - Design an algorithmic intent layer translating real-time signals into actionable intents for recommendations - Architect ML pathways to expose core actions as tools for AI agents enabling conversational shopping - Develop robust propensity models and segmentation frameworks aligned with company strategy - Address bot traffic with multi-layer ML models using historical data to protect analytics and personalization - Lead and evangelize ML / AI initiatives across product, engineering, and business leadership - Collaborate with platform and experience teams to ensure efficient ML integration without impacting Core Web Vitals or caching - Partner with another Principal Data Scientist to accelerate research and elevate team maturityResponsabilidades - Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field - 8+ years of experience building and deploying ML models at high scale - Deep expertise in Deep Learning, LLMs, and Reinforcement Learning - Proven track record in propensity modeling, customer segmentation, and bot/anomaly detection on large-scale data - Expert Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and SQL proficiency - Strong understanding of data pipelines (Databricks, Snowflake) and frontend/backend integration - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience in Agile and in e-commerce or marketing domainsRequisitos principales - Remote-first company - Inclusive culture - Growth opportunities - Award-winning work environment
