Role DescriptionLa descripción completa del puesto cubre todas las habilidades asociadas, la experiencia previa y cualquier cualificación que se espera que tengan los solicitantes.Energiot is looking for an Electronic Engineer to join the Product and R&D team in Barcelona.The person will contribute to the design, development, testing, and improvement of Energiot’s self?powered IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring.This role involves working closely with hardware, firmware, mechanical, product, and operations teams to develop reliable electronic solutions for devices deployed in demanding field environments.This is an ideal position for someone with a strong background in electronics, preferably with a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field, who wants to work on real?world IoT products for the energy sector and contribute to the development of innovative technologies for electrical networks.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the electronic design and development of IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring.Work on PCB design, circuit development, component selection, and hardware validation.Support the development, testing, and debugging of electronic prototypes and production?ready devices.Program and test microcontrollers, with a focus on embedded systems and low?power devices.Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure integration between hardware, software, and mechanical design.Contribute to the improvement of device reliability, manufacturability, and field performance.Support R&D projects in collaboration with electrical utilities and industrial partners.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design revisions.Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support prototyping, production, and quality improvements.Contribute to product certification processes and compliance?related activities when required.QualificationsEssentialBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Ideally, Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar.Demonstrable experience in electronic product development.Strong knowledge of PCB design tools and electronic circuit design.Experience with microcontroller programming and embedded systems.Ability to read, create, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.Hands?on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.Fluent in Spanish and English.Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.PreferredKnowledge of low?power electronics and hardware optimization.Experience with Texas Instruments SoC or similar microcontroller platforms.Experience with IoT devices, wireless sensors, or connected hardware products.Familiarity with wireless communication protocols such as LoRa, SigFox, I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, or similar.Experience with product certification, reliability testing, or compliance processes.Basic understanding of mechanical design constraints and product integration.Familiarity with simulation tools such as COMSOL or similar.Strong problem?solving skills.Autonomy, organization, and attention to detail.Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of technical tasks.Good communication skills with technical and non?technical teams.xqbhyrx BenefitsFull?time, permanent contractEntrepreneurial startup culture with a high level of ownershipPrivate medical insurance coverage (Adeslas PYME total)Office located in Barcelona, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.#J-*****-Ljbffr
