Job description

  • Design, develop, document, and deploy cloud architecture for AWS aligned with client requirements and industry best practices

  • Develop and test Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting as needed

  • Work on a fast-paced cross-functional team

  • Collaborate directly with tech leads and clients to understand requirements and make critical design decisions

  • Develop solutions within a structured, IEC 62304-compliant SDLC

  • Write and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with AWS architecture and cloud-native technologies

  • Experience with Windows, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes

  • Proficiency with the Linux command line, BASH, and PowerShell

  • Proficiency with Terraform

  • Proficiency in at least one commonly used scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

  • Experience setting up CI/CD for a cloud environment

  • Experience with disaster recovery concepts and multi-region deployments

  • Proficiency with Lucid Charts

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

  • Experience with Agile

  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Comfortable moving between client engagements, adapting quickly to new codebases, teams, and product domains

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred, or equivalent years of experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • One or more AWS certifications

  • Experience building infrastructure supporting medical devices

  • Experience with IoT

  • Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases

  • Experience building dashboards for monitoring cloud environments

  • Experience with load testing

  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and applicable standards and tooling

The base salary for this position is $105,000 to $165,000 annually, and the role is bonus eligible.

The final salary offer is determined by factors such as experience, location, skills, education, and market conditions. **
