Job description

Experteer Overview Join NVIDIA’s NVEX Solutions Engineering as a senior engineer focusing on ground-breaking network tech for AI clusters. You will bridge customer support and R&D, shaping fixes and workarounds for high-performance interconnects like InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X. You’ll analyze performance, root-cause issues to the source, and develop tools to improve field support. This role offers cross-team collaboration and hands-on work with cutting-edge AI networking tech to impact large-scale AI deployments. Compensation / Benefits * Assist network and AI cluster support teams in reproducing, resolving, and root causing complex customer issues * Collaborate with R&D to develop bug fixes, workarounds, and solutions for critical customers using NVIDIA’s network technologies * Establish as an authority on NVIDIA network technologies used in AI clusters (InfiniBand, NVLink, Spectrum-X) * Analyze network performance metrics and make tuning recommendations for high-performance, lossless networks * Develop support and analysis tools to aid in diagnosing and root-causing field issues * Daily use of AI tools for software development, log/trace analysis, and source code debugging * Occasional weekend/holiday support to assist customers Tasks * BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience) * 8+ years of C programming in Linux and embedded systems * Proficiency in Python * 8+ years of software development for Linux NIC drivers, switch ASICs/SDKs, embedded network device firmware, Linux-based networking equipment, network operating systems, SDN stacks, virtual switching, DPDK, SR-IOV stacks * At least 3 years of direct end-customer, partner, or integrator support for network infrastructure * Strong system software expertise (firmware, BIOS, kernel, drivers, OS) * Professional-level communication skills and ability to stay calm in challenging situations * Passion for learning innovative tech and contributing to ground-breaking products Key requirements * equity * comprehensive benefits package
