Oracle AI Application Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design cloud-based architectures that leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to meet mission-critical needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform strategy, drive cloud migrations, and ensure standards are met across environments. You’ll apply AI capabilities to build agents, integrate data with LLMs using RAG and MCP, and deliver geospatial solutions. This position offers hands-on work at the intersection of cloud, AI, and national security, with opportunities to advance in AI and defense-focused projects. Compensation / Benefits * design and build cloud-based architectures on OCI for mission-critical applications * develop AI agents and integrate mission data with LLMs (RAG and MCP) * deploy and maintain advanced OCI solutions and geospatial workloads * build Node.js applications and dashboards connected to Oracle Databases * support cloud migration efforts and advise on on-premise, cloud, and hybrid strategies * lead technical initiatives in large-scale environments and ensure security and compliance during migrations * work with cross-functional teams to inform strategy and standards during cloud adoption * participate in developing production geospatial solutions (raster and vector) using SQL, Python, and R Tasks * 5+ years of cloud-first software development * 3+ years of OCI enterprise solutions experience * experience designing and building AI agents * experience integrating mission data with LLMs using RAG and MCP * experience developing and deploying OCI solutions * experience with machine learning frameworks * experience building geospatial solutions (SQL, Python, R) * Node.js application and Oracle Database dashboard experience * active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to polygraph * Bachelor’s degree Key requirements * health benefits * life insurance * disability benefits * financial benefits * retirement benefits * paid leave
