Job description

We’re partnering with an established manufacturing organization seeking a Data Engineer to support enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines that move information from multiple ERP systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), enabling reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys data engineering, cloud technologies, and solving complex integration challenges in a manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines into D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Build ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Azure data services.
  • Extract, transform, and prepare data from multiple ERP platforms for reporting and analytics.
  • Improve data quality, automation, and pipeline performance.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support data warehousing, reporting, AI, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Participate in Agile development, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or other enterprise ERP platforms.
  • Strong Python and SQL development skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies, including: o Azure Synapse Analytics o Microsoft Fabric (or Synapse migration experience) o Azure Data Factory o Azure SQL o Azure Data Lake o Databricks

  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data from multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry experience.
  • Experience migrating or integrating data from ERP platforms such as SAP, Infor, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of D365 Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Experience with Power BI, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, Key Vault, and modern Microsoft data platforms.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiatives is a plus. What We’re Looking For
