Job description

We are now ready to disrupt the consumption model by making real-time log data from our devices and services available to third party applications to further enhance the security of our customers. In this new Big Data Cloud platform, we can collect and ingest tens of terabytes of logs globally every day in our data centers across the world. The Threat Intelligence Cloud Team is responsible for orchestrating, developing and operating this big data distributed system platform. We are looking for an experienced hands-on Java Development Engineer to design and enhance the various different components of the system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer in enterprise distributed projects
  • Experience developing Java Applications using Spring Boot
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration and messaging patterns
  • Proficiency developing API, Microservices, Jersey framework for Web Services a plus
  • Ability to design and deploy automated unit, regression and integration tests
  • Provable experience in designing and tuning SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of nuances of high volume efficient messaging and related tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with container based development (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related fields QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some experience with OpenStack and Big Data Opensource development tools
  • Hands on experience working with large scale data ingestion, processing and storage
