Aircall is a unicorn, AI-powered customer communications platform used by 22,000+ companies worldwide to drive revenue, resolve issues faster, and scale customer-facing teams.Were redefining customer communications by bringing voice, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI together into one seamless workspace.Our momentum comes from a simple idea: help teams work smarter, not harder.Aircalls AI Voice Agent automates routine calls, AI Assist streamlines post-call work, and AI Assist Pro delivers real-time guidance so people can do their best work.The result is higher revenue, faster resolutions, and teams that scale with confidence.Aircall is headquartered in Paris, our European HQ, with a strong North American presence anchored in Seattle, our North American HQ, and teams across Madrid, London, Berlin, San Francisco, New York City, Sydney, and Mexico City.Weve built a product customers love and a business thats scaling quickly, backed by world-class investors and driven by rapid AI innovation across multiple product lines.At Aircall, youll join a company in motion.Were ambitious, product-driven, and execution-focused, with visible impact, fast decisions, and real growth.How we work at Aircall: Were customer-obsessed, data-driven, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes.We value ownership, continuous learning, and thoughtful speed.If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where trust and impact matter, youll feel at home here.This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our offices located in either Madrid.Your mission Enhance the customers experience by implementing new features and improve the existing ones Work closely with other teams including other engineering teams, product, design and QA to deliver a high-quality product Write clean scalable code and test and deploy actions and systems.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback Troubleshoot issues with code and provide solutions Build tooling for a more robust and faster development process Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality of the application Be proactive and involved in decisions about our technical stack, process but also product and UX Write technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing activities Keep up-to-date with the latest development trends and suggest improvements to the team You should have proven experience with : React Typescript AWS (Lambda, Appsync, DynamoDB, Aurora, etc) It would be great if you also have: Experience with any of Twilio/Bandwidth/Legos/Ruby API development using any of Rest/GraphQL About You: Minimum 6 years experience in backend development Proficiency in React, Typescript and experience with You have extensive experience with observability using tools like Datadog/Cloudwatch/Prometheus/New relic etc You have experience with OLTP databases like Postgres/Mysql etc Security and quality is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do Good knowledge about architecture patterns Shipping and maintaining code in production Familiar with CI/CD process and tools Able to communicate in English Good communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills Give/receive feedback and be able to bounce back Curious, optimistic and open-minded Be comfortable with a remote organisation and happy to gather from time to time Who you’ll work with ?????
