Experteer Overview In this SDET II role you will drive automated testing for tank gauge features and cloud-based applications, partnering with developers to enhance test coverage. You will extend the automation framework, integrate tests into CI pipelines, and communicate quality risks to stakeholders. You’ll work across hardware and software, helping shape test strategy and tooling while learning from peers. This role offers hands-on impact in a collaborative, cross-functional team that values innovation and continuous improvement. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and validate automated test plans for tank gauge features * Design, implement, and run tests aligning with technical specs to ensure quality * Continuously improve the test automation framework * Create automation execution reports highlighting failures and root causes * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or Bamboo) * Monitor automation runs and communicate failures to stakeholders * Support non-functional testing (stress, performance, security) with automation and data * Refactor tests and enhance regression automation for efficiency and quality * Ensure traceability of test automation to requirements or user stories * Collaborate with product managers, developers and QA to align on testing objectives * Summarize test data and report findings * Act as a core team member across project goals and deliverables Tasks * Experience with test automation frameworks * Proficiency in object-oriented languages (Java preferred) * Experience writing automated API, software, and firmware tests using NUnit, C++, C#, JUnit, TestNG, NodeJS, Java, Python * Selenium experience for WebUI automation * Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows OS * Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis) * VCS experience (svn and/or git) * Senior-level software testing exposure in agile SCRUM and TDD/BDD is a plus * Experience with Agile software development * Minimum 5 years in SDET/Automation roles * Knowledge of SDLC and cross-functional collaboration * UI automation experience (QT) and Linux scripting (bash) Key requirements * health, dental, vision insurance * disability and life insurance * premium 401(k) with company matching * paid time off and holidays * paid parental leave * wellness and family support programs
