Job description

A company in the Biotechnology sector, creator of Integral Solutions for Continuous Non-Invasive Monitoring.It creates Devices that make people’s lives easier by monitoring their parameters without them noticing, without pain, without discomfort, wherever they are.In the practice of sport or in everyday life.The first focus has been on lactate measurement, initially centring his project on the world of Sport.However, it has other Biomarkers in mind, including the measurement of glucose levels, aimed at diabetic patients.The company needs to incorporate a FIRMWARE ENGINEER .Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time position as a Firmware Engineer position acting as a developer on a project involving Medical Devices.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and motivated team developing a medical device for use in remote non-invasive monitorization.The candidate will be involved in the management of a medical device, its optimization and development ofnew features through embedded software in a fast-paced environment, encompassing all the stages of product lifecycle under the ISO*** QMS and EUMDR and FDA regulatory landscape.The candidate will work in close conjunction with quality, electronics and materials engineers already working on the hardware and sensing parts of the device.In addition to working closely with other members of the internal technical team, they will also engage with medical personnel, consultants and customer services as product manager.DutiesWork and collaborate in a team with broad expertise in areas associated with medical device development.Have oversight of product lifecycle and technical documentation according to our quality management system and regulations.Develop and optimize firmware / embedded software for : improvement of developed algorithms, development and validation of new features, evaluation of product releases, safety and data protection.Develop and optimize firmware / embedded software considering product regulations and quality objectives.Proactively identify technical solutions and risks for future product releases.Documenting work in line with quality systems.Qualifications / Skills RequiredDegree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 5-year experience.Evidence of knowledge in wearable devices, embedded data processing and algorithm development.Demonstrable experience in programming languages for firmware (C / C++).Experience working with STM32 microcontroller family, HAL programming and RTOS.Programming skills in a language / software relevant to the development of algorithms / data processing, etc. (Python).Use of repository version control systems (Git).Basic knowledge about Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery / Deployment (DevOps).Low-level drivers development and unit testing (CPPUTEST or similar).Motivated and independent person, dynamic, creative thinker and problem solver.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with connected health projects would be beneficial.The Company offersIndefinite contract.Remuneration : + / - € ******* gross per year.Flexible working hours or Teleworking.#J-***-Ljbffr
