Staff Engineer - Embedded Software Test

Experteer Overview In this role you will define and govern scalable SQA strategies and embed test frameworks for high-quality embedded software on Radio IC and SoC products.You will influence cross-program quality practices and drive reusable automation across programs, ensuring end-to-end traceability and audit-ready evidence.You’ll lead CI/CD integration for automated validation and monitor quality metrics to reduce defects.This is a hands-on role with cross-functional collaboration across distributed teams, offering a meaningful impact on product reliability and release confidence.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Define, govern, and maintain SQA strategy and test framework architecture with end-to-end traceability and audit-ready documentation * Evolve reusable embedded software test frameworks, automation libraries, infrastructure, and toolchains * Enable standardization and reuse across programs; support functional, integration, system, regression, and continuous verification * Lead integration of test frameworks into CI/CD pipelines and define automated quality gates * Define and track quality metrics (coverage, defect rates, regression stability, CI health) and drive continuous improvement * Perform defect trend analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions * Act as SQA SME; influence system and software design for testability and quality * Lead audits, risk assessments, and change management to ensure adherence to quality criteria * Contribute to continuous improvement of ADI software development and quality processes Responsabilidades * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field * Significant experience in embedded software testing and validation * Proven experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks * Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python for test development * Strong experience with embedded systems, hardware/software interaction, and debugging * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git-based workflows) and test/defect management tools * Demonstrated ability to develop test strategies aligned to requirements and execute across the full software lifecycle * Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills with ability to drive quality improvements Requisitos principales *
