Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will build and manage our Canadian sovereign cloud on Google Cloud while contributing to global cloud deployments. You will automate infrastructure at scale using code and modern tooling, collaborating across SRE, networking, and system administration teams. You’ll shape security-focused, programmable environments and help evolve our next-gen software offerings, including Kubernetes. A learning mindset and cross-functional collaboration will be essential as you drive scalable, cloud-based solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Build and manage the Canadian sovereign cloud on Google Cloud and contribute to global clouds * Manage enterprise infrastructure at scale with Terraform and Crossplane across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud * Develop and onboard new services using Go and Python; automate with Puppet and Ansible * Define solutions that meet functional and security requirements for customers * Work on next-gen software like Kubernetes; push to a fully code-defined environment * Research and implement new open-source and commercial tools and methodologies * Collaborate with SRE, networking and System Administrators to ensure environment stability Tasks * 8 years of experience in systems engineering, cloud or infrastructure automation with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) * Experience writing code to automate/infrastructure provisioning in Python, Go or Java * Background in software-defined systems; learning mindset to expand skills * Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure as code * Knowledge of Kubernetes administration and development; Linux, networking, DNS familiarity Key requirements * health plans * RRSP with company match * ESPP * matching donations * family and medical leave * 20 days annual vacation
