Job description

Design, implement, and manage advanced NAC solutions using CISCO network devices, including load balancers, LINUX servers, and CISCO appliances Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot NAC policies, profiles, and enforcement mechanisms Monitor network activity to detect, analyze, and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure NAC strategies align with enterprise network security objectives Evaluate and recommend new NAC tools and vendors to enhance network protection Provide expert-level technical support and mentorship to internal and external teams on NAC-related technologies and challenges Stay informed on evolving network security best practices and emerging NAC technologies

Requirements

Minimum 16 years of relevant experience in network engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Proven Subject Matter Expert (SME) in network engineering with a specialized focus on network security and NAC Extensive hands-on experience with CISCO technologies, including firewalls (e.g., Cisco FTD), routers, switches, and NAC tools Strong understanding of network security principles and network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) Experience translating complex security requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade NAC solutions Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for NAC policy creation, profiling, and enforcement Industry certifications such as: CCNA Security CCNP Security CCIE Security Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) Proficiency with Linux operating systems and Python scripting Experience working with a broad range of network technologies and architectures Strong understanding of network design principles and systems engineering concepts
