Job description

WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED GRAPHICS ENGINEER TO HELP TAKE OUR TECH TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THERE ARE SOME EXCITING NEW PROJECTS HERE, AND WE NEED A SENIOR GRAPHICS ENGINEER TO HELP ARCHITECT OUR RENDERING PIPELINE AND SUPPORTING SYSTEMS. JOIN US AND HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECH AT LINDEN LAB! WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Architect and implement key systems in the graphics pipeline
  • Expand and improve existing systems
  • Participate in code reviews, whiteboard discussions, standups, and pair-programming on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with other engineers in an iterative, agile development environment with a focus on shipping code and achieving practical results
  • Contribute to design discussions

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a graphics engineer
  • A high degree of proficiency in C or C++
  • Strong 3D math skills
  • Collaborative and quick to adapt in a multi-tasking, quick-moving environment BONUS POINTS:

  • Previous game industry experience
  • OpenGL experience
  • Metal experience
