Job description

Experteer Overview As an Embedded Engineer at Applied Intuition, you will build and maintain hardware test frameworks and manage large-scale test labs to validate autonomous systems. You’ll debug flaky integration tests in production CI and perform hardware/software debugging across embedded firmware, JTAG bring-up, and Linux-based environments. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable tools for validating moving machines. This role offers impact on cutting-edge autonomy infrastructure and hands-on work with hardware and software in a fast-paced setting. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain hardware test frameworks for embedded devices * Manage and scale large test labs and CI processes for hardware/software validation * Debug flaky integration tests in production CI pipelines * Perform hardware/software debugging using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG tooling * Handle embedded firmware bring-up, target initialization, and bare-metal Linux systems * Administer Linux systems and network-related components (kernel modules, systemd, udev) * Work with CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay tooling and SocketCAN as applicable Tasks * 2+ years of experience working on embedded devices * Proficiency in Python, Bash, pytest, and CLI tooling * Experience with Linux and systems administration * Experience with hardware test frameworks and test labs * Familiarity with embedded firmware, JTAG debuggers, and target bring-up * Understanding of CI/HIL concepts * Experience with networking, udev, kernel modules, and systemd Key requirements * office-based role with some flexibility * focus on hands-on hardware/software work
