Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to the CPU software architecture for Qualcomm Custom CPU across premium devices. You will work on hardware-software co-design, architecture, optimization, and firmware development, engaging with cutting-edge ARMv9 features. You will impact SoCs used in mobiles, laptops, automotive, and cloud, shaping how software and firmware unlock performance and efficiency. This position offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and opportunities to influence next-generation CPU subsystems. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software and utilities * Analyze user needs and software requirements to optimize performance * Design and implement software modules for products and systems * Contribute to large feature design and coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration * Perform code reviews, regression tests, and triage/fix issues to ensure quality * Collaborate with project teams to meet objectives and schedules * Create technical documentation for software projects Tasks * Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a related field with substantial software engineering experience * 3+ years programming in C, C++, Java, Python, etc. * Experience in embedded system development * Understanding of ARM CPU architecture and ARMv8/v9 ISA * Performance evaluation and optimization for ARM-based SoCs * Familiarity with Open-Source development tools and frameworks * Experience in software/driver development for Linux or Zephyr RTOS * Strong analytical and debugging skills * Ability to collaborate with HW design teams to define software architecture * Knowledge of RISCV is a plus Key requirements * competitive benefits package * annual discretionary bonus program * RSU grants * work-life balance initiatives * career development opportunities * equity participation
