Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you contribute to Apple’s next-generation SoC by designing and validating high-performance, power-efficient hardware. You’ll develop fast, reliable test platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure silicon and boards meet demanding specs. You’ll work on board bring-up, high-speed interfaces, and problem-solving across the lab and production environments. This is an opportunity to shape devices that millions rely on, through meticulous hardware design and validation. Compensation / Benefits * High-speed board design and validation * Design and implement test and characterization circuits in the lab * Debug complex system-level issues on test boards * Develop specifications from cross-functional requirements * Schematic capture, layout constraints, and design reviews * FPGA and CPLD development * Board bring-up, testing, and characterization * Power and signal integrity analysis and high-speed interface work * Debug production systems and test boards Tasks * Schematic-level board design experience * Board bring-up and debug strategies knowledge * Strong EE fundamentals: transistor operation, signal integrity, timing * RTL experience with Verilog or VHDL * FPGA design experience preferred * Proficiency with lab equipment: scopes, analyzers, signal generators, eLoads, protocol analyzers * Test automation experience using Perl/Tcl/Python * BS in Electrical, Computer or related degree with 3 years of experience Key requirements *
