Job description

Experteer Overview Senior Oracle Data Engineer you will design, build and sustain enterprise data solutions powering critical analytics. You will craft scalable ETL workflows, optimize Oracle databases, and automate data processes while working with cross-functional teams on modernization efforts. This role focuses on performance, automation, and cloud transformation within a large enterprise. You will contribute to data quality, governance, and reliable analytics delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions (procedures, packages, functions, triggers) * Build, enhance, and support ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter * Develop automation solutions using Python and Unix Shell scripting * Implement source code management and CI/CD practices using GitHub, GitOps, and Jenkins * Manage and monitor batch processing with Control-M and AutoSys * Optimize Oracle databases for performance, scalability, and reliability * Support reporting/analytics by delivering datasets for OBIEE/OAS and other BI tools * Collaborate with business users, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions * Troubleshoot ETL, database, and production data issues; ensure data quality and integrity * Create and maintain technical documentation (ETL mappings, data flows, deployment procedures) * Participate in code reviews, data architecture discussions, and continuous improvement * Support data migration, modernization, and cloud transformation with security and governance compliance Tasks * 5+ years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development * 5+ years with Informatica PowerCenter * 5+ years Python and Unix Shell scripting in data engineering * 6+ years Oracle Database experience including performance tuning * Strong data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL practices * Experience building scalable data integration across cloud and on-premises * Experience with Control-M and AutoSys * Experience with GitHub, GitOps, and Jenkins for deployment automation * Experience supporting OBIEE/OAS BI platforms * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer contribution * flexible spending account or health savings account * life and AD&D insurance * short- and long-term disability * paid time off * 401k with company match
