Product Application Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you apply advanced engineering to design and deliver tailored solutions for diverse customer applications, guiding projects from concept to manufacturable products. You will work with sales, manufacturing, and product management to translate requirements into realizable designs, BOMs, and documentation, while resolving issues with structured problem-solving methods. You’ll mentor team members and uphold engineering excellence to support customer success and company growth. This is a technical leadership position in the Fluid Conveyance Division with impact across global teams. Compensation / Benefits * Lead cross-functional project teams across sales, manufacturing and product management * Translate customer requirements into manufacturable designs using 3D modeling and create engineering drawings/docs * Develop BOMs and estimate component costs for competitive, profitable quotations * Act as technical resource to apply structured problem-solving (8D, Fault Tree Analysis) to resolve product issues Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related * 3+ years of experience in product design/application engineering, preferably hydraulic products * Proven ability to independently manage complex engineering projects and deliver on schedule * Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, FRACAS, Fault Tree Analysis) * CAD (2D/3D) proficiency and familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, and Salesforce Key requirements * 13th salary * annual bonus * paid vacation * pension plans * personal insurance
