LIS Application Specialist

Experteer Overview In this role, you will develop and maintain Central Lab LIS/LIMS procedures and training, build LIS/LIMS databases for clinical trials, and support cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient study execution. You will partner with Lab Operations, Project Management, QA, and IT to implement changes, manage data integrity, and resolve system issues. The role focuses on enabling accurate data flows, regulatory adherence, and scalable central-lab capabilities across studies. You will work in a collaborative, impact-driven environment with exposure to biobanking and diverse diagnostic testing workflows. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain LIS/LIMS procedures and training aids * Build and maintain LIS/LIMS databases for clinical trials and biorepositories * Collaborate with Lab Operations and Project Management to design tests and calculations in LIS/LIMS * Assist with Change Control related to Laboratory Information Systems * Coordinate between laboratory management, QA, and IT for multidisciplinary efforts * Ensure LIS/LIMS compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, GCP, GLP, CAP, CLIA * Coordinate data transfers with Data Management * Design studies in LIS/LIMS per study protocol and manuals * Identify and resolve technical issues with LIS/LIMS * Manage user access and security for central lab systems * Document incidents/resolutions in IT ticketing/log systems * Communicate workload and priorities to supervisor * Other tasks as assigned Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in biology, chemistry, or related fields * At least one year LIS setup experience * Experience with LabVantage Medical Suite and Biobanking preferred Key requirements * health and dental insurance * 401(k) plan * disability insurance * life insurance
